About Manufacture Contracting

Manufacture Contracting is a manufacturing sourcing network and intelligence platform. We connect buyers who need parts, assemblies and production capacity with contract manufacturers and specialized manufacturing suppliers.

What Manufacture Contracting does

We operate a sourcing network built around capabilities rather than catalogues. Buyers describe the part, assembly or production problem they need solved; we review the request and point it toward manufacturers whose stated capabilities, materials, certifications, volumes and locations fit the work.

Alongside the network we publish sourcing guides, capability and industry pages, manufacturing news and analysis so that buyers can prepare a better request before they ever speak to a supplier.

Manufacture Contracting facilitates introductions between buyers and manufacturers. We do not manufacture, inspect or supply parts. Buyers remain responsible for qualifying suppliers, agreeing contracts and making final purchasing decisions.

Who we serve

Buyers & procurement teams

Engineers, procurement managers, product teams and operations leaders who need a part made, a supplier replaced, a short run produced or an obsolete component reproduced.

Manufacturers & suppliers

Contract manufacturers, job shops, fabricators, molders, assemblers, packagers and specialized service providers looking for qualified project opportunities and clearer market visibility.

Small and midsized manufacturers

Shops that compete on capability and responsiveness rather than advertising budget. The network is designed so a 20-person shop can be found for the work it actually does.

Our sourcing approach

  1. Step 1

    Understand the requirement

Process, material, tolerance, volume, certifications, timing and location preference — captured up front so a manufacturer can respond without a dozen follow-up emails.

  2. Step 2

    Review before distribution

Requests are reviewed before they go anywhere. Confidential project details and uploaded files are never published on the site.

  3. Step 3

    Match on capability

We match against what manufacturers say they do — capabilities, materials, certifications, volumes, prototype or production, domestic or international.

  4. Step 4

    Hand over to the buyer

Introductions are made and the buyer takes it from there: quoting, qualification, contracting and the final decision stay with them.

Manufacturing intelligence

Sourcing decisions are better when you can see what is happening to capacity, workforce, trade policy and technology. We publish analysis in Insights, timely reporting in News, and a calendar of manufacturing events where buyers and suppliers meet in person.

U.S. manufacturing & reshoring

A large share of the work buyers bring to us is domestic: replacing an overseas supplier, shortening a lead time, qualifying a second source closer to home, or restarting production of a part that is no longer available. Buyers can ask for domestic, regional or international sourcing, and manufacturers can state exactly where they produce.
